Hotels in Bled

Bled is one of the most beautiful tourist places in Slovenia. Unforgettable image shows Lake Bled in the middle of which is a romantic small island with a church. Above the lake proudly rises the Bled Castle, which was first mentioned in the year 1011.

Negova

Negova is a picturesque village which lies on the edge of the hilly Slovenske gorice. It was already populated during the Stone Age and the Bronze Age. The village was first mentioned in 1106 under the name Negoinzelo and in the year 1265 as Negowe. The area of Negova has rich cultural and natural heritage. The most important sights are the castle Negova, the Church of Virgin Mary, sacred signs, a plague, a pillory stone and more. Among the natural heritage belongs the Negova lake, many ponds, which are remains of lakes and mineral springs in the Scavnica valley. The castle of Negova was first mentioned in the year 1425 as vest Negav. The castle is divided into three parts, which are the front part, the new part and the old part. The first owner of the castle with surroundings was the family Spanheim. Near the castle is located interesting herb garden Negova. Negova lake is situated southeast from the village Negova. On the lake we can see the white water lily and a rare water nut. Negova is recognized by many famous people, such as Ivan Kramberger, politician and benefactor, Anton Trstenjak, psychologist, theologian, anthropologist, philosopher, graphologist and Matej Slekovec, historian and theologian.

Rogaška Slatina

Rogaska Slatina is a famous spa town, which is located in the east of Slovenia, on the border with Croatia. It is one of the oldest and most important tourist destinations in Slovenia. Development of the place was always connected with mineral water springs, which are Donat, Styria and Tempel. These were mentioned in the written sources already in the Middle Ages. A major role in the development of tourism had the Count Ferdinand Attems, who was the founder of the spa. The main buildings in the classical style were made in the 19th century. The most famous building is the Grand Hotel Rogaska, which hosted many famous people. In this hotel we can see a crystal hall, which is one of the most beautiful representative halls in Slovenia. Near the spa complex is on a small hill located a neoromanesque church of saint Ana, which was renovated by the plans of the famous architect Plecnik. In the warmer months is the centre of the happening the Zdraviliski square, where are taking place various events, which attracts many foreign and local visitors. Lipica

Lipica is situated on the amazing Karst environment in the middle of the green fields near Sezana. It was founded in the year 1580 and it is the centre of the Lipizzan horses. The Lipica Stud Farm is one of the most beautiful historical and cultural monuments in Slovenia. In the 1960's the Lipica Stud Farm established the Classic Riding School. Today successfully combines the cultural and natural heritage of the unique karst setting with modern tourist offer. We can see one of the oldest stud farm in the world, the presentation of the Classical Riding School, racetrack, the collection of the art work in the Avgust-Cernigoj Gallery, the Church of the Saint Anthony of Padua and the Valley Our Lady of Lourdes. We can go to the riding school, golf and to the interesting drive with the carriage. In Lipica they also have a wedding hall for romantic weddings. In 2010 the Lipica Stud Farm celebrated its 430th anniversary.

Logar Valley

Logar Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in Slovenia. It is located in the centre of the Kamnik - Savinja Alps. Logar Valley is 7 km long and it is divided into three parts, which are lower grassy Log, middle woody Plest and upper part Kot. Above Kot raises the glacial basin Okreselj. Natural attractions in the Logar Valley are the Rinka Waterfall, the Palenk Waterfall, the Rastovski skok falls, Logar's Linden, Plesnik's elm, the Okreselj basin, the second source of the Savinja river and other. The Rinka Waterfall is 90-metre high, it is the highest single and unbroken waterfall in Slovenia. Logar's Linden stands about 300 metres from the Logar farmstead on the left side of the road and it is a symbol view of the Logar Valley. Because of the many natural beauties the Logar Valley was proclaimed as a regional park in 1987.

Goriska brda

Goriska brda is a landscape, which is located in the western part of Slovenia. It is the most famous by wine and fruit growing, but it is also hiding many cultural attractions.
The region was already settled in Roman times. Typical medieval culture is seen in the dense Mediterranean villages with stone houses on the ridges of hills. In Goriska brda are the main attractions the lookout tower Gonjace, Smartno, Kojsko, Medana, Castle Dobrovo, Krcnik, Vipolze and much more.
In Goriska brda we have to visit the largest Slovenian wine cellar, which is situated in the village Dobrovo. The Wine Cellar Goriska Brda offer tours and tastings of delicious wines from Brda.
Through Goriska brda is going the cycling and interesting wine rout. They organize many social events, such as the cherry hike. Goriska brda is a beautiful country, which I love to visit it very much. If offers a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Terme Snovik

Terme Snovik is a thermal spa, which is located in the heart of Tuhinjska valley in the idyllic village Snovik. The beginnings of Terme Snovik dates back to 1953, when first studies of exploitation of thermal water were made. Terme Snovik can be visited all year round, because they have indoor and outdoor pools. The wellness center also has saunas, massages and pedicure. The complex has a restaurant, which offers delicious food. For business meetings they offer modern equipped seminar rooms. Above the thermal baths is located apartment complex with rooms and apartments. Besides enjoying in Terme Snovik the wonderful valley offers many other activities like hiking, biking, tennis, horseback riding, nordic walking and other.
