Logar Valley

Logar Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in Slovenia. It is located in the centre of the Kamnik - Savinja Alps. Logar Valley is 7 km long and it is divided into three parts, which are lower grassy Log, middle woody Plest and upper part Kot. Above Kot raises the glacial basin Okreselj. Natural attractions in the Logar Valley are the Rinka Waterfall, the Palenk Waterfall, the Rastovski skok falls, Logar's Linden, Plesnik's elm, the Okreselj basin, the second source of the Savinja river and other. The Rinka Waterfall is 90-metre high, it is the highest single and unbroken waterfall in Slovenia. Logar's Linden stands about 300 metres from the Logar farmstead on the left side of the road and it is a symbol view of the Logar Valley. Because of the many natural beauties the Logar Valley was proclaimed as a regional park in 1987.
